SARAH
Following time working in the Marketing department of a multinational bank, Sarah decided to throw herself into freelancing and now turns her hand to writing for the not-for-profit sector as well as editing a parenting magazine.

TINA
With a degree in Commerce/Marketing, and a background in fashion and retail, Tina runs a style consultancy, The Style Bar (‘Raising your fashion consciousness’). Her blog on the pressing style issues of the day showcases her wit and wisdom on all matters fashion. Currently based in Barcelona.

KELLIE
With a background in community and business newspapers, Kel is a sensitive interviewer and feature writer who tackles a broad range of topics. Recently-published articles have covered business sustainability and the yummy mummy phenomenon.

MATT
As an in-house and freelance copywriter for some of the biggest ad and DM agencies around, Matt has earned his chops in Australia and the UK producing DM and online copy for some equally big clients. After a short hiatus as a masseur, Matt is back in action and producing cracking copy across a range of media.

SACHA
Sacha specialises in DM, and has worked for some of the top agencies in the UK and Australia, including Rapp Collins, George Patts and OneBarrackStreet. TVC, radio, print, web – he can do it all, and with exceptional aplomb, we might add.

GARY
Gary can turn his hand to almost any writing gig, from editing hundreds of tender pages to finessing brochure copy to promote camera gear. Likes his machines, this one, and has written and edited the Sports pages of a number of eminent publications.

SUSIE
A PR whiz who has worked for the film, arts and not-for-profit sectors, Susie is an incisive editor who can spot a typo or syntactic blunder a mile off – as well as being able to spot structural weaknesses and whip a meandering report, book or article into shape quick-smart.

MAUREEN
A talented journo and sub-editor, Maureen has been a local councillor, a business owner, a day trader, a property renovator and a tireless volunteer for not-for-profit organisations – often all at the same time. Anything she doesn’t already know everything about she can find screeds of info on with a few well-placed phone calls.

CATRI
Catri is a recovering English Lit academic who has gone digital. An expert in online technologies and new media, she brings a unique blend of scholarly pedantry, digital energy and Web 2.0 savvy to The Copy Collective. She holds a PhD in English Literature and is completing a Masters in Interactive Multimedia at the University of Technology, Sydney and has worked with a number of cutting edge independent media organisations and not-for-profits.

SAMUEL
Sam is originally from the UK, and has forged an impressive career writing for finance publications. He is the originator of Behind the Numbers, a bi-monthly column in the Hong Kong Standard analysing the performance of mutual funds. Luckily for TCC, Sam is now branching out and a recent job saw him writing content for a Happy Shaolin Kung Fu Musical brochure.

RUTH
A background in documentary film making has given Ruth the ability to take a new subject area, rapidly gain an understanding of the content and cut to its essence to deliver a clear, creative and vibrant message.

BELINDA
TCC’s resident SEO whiz, Belinda, is exceptionally efficient at whipping your online copy into the kind of shape needed to attract the punters on the www.

PAULINE
After wrangling clients as an Account Manager for a leading Australian DM agency specialising in the not-for-profit sector, Pauline moved to a marketing role with a wine wholesaler, before relocating to the UK and turning her hand to her first love, copywriting. Pauline continues to craft award-winning copy for a range of clients, including The Copy Collective in Australia.

ELISE
Elise has worked for the Commonwealth Bank in various comms roles, produced a short film, Hit and Myth, which was accepted for the 1999 Los Angeles Short Film Festival, and most recently worked as Features Editor at HFMWeek in the Big Apple, where she has been living and working since 2000. If she can make it there…

DAMIEN
Damien has spent many years doing a job many of us no doubt would love to have – researching and writing the Barcelona edition of Lonely Planet. Damien is a polyglot who travels the globe adding new languages to his trove and scoping out interesting writing projects.

ALAN
Alan has worked for some of the biggest names in IT, as well as starting numerous online businesses of his own. He now consults to other web-based businesses on how to do things better. His blog, www.doingwords.com is a font of wisdom on all matters www.

DOMINIQUE
This is where the buck stops – with the collective’s benevolent dictator, Dominique. A journo and editor by training, with many years’ experience working with design and DM agencies, Dominique is a generalist who can turn her hand to almost any DM, web, marcoms or publishing project from brainstorming concepts to final draft.

More importantly, she can recognise talent in all of these areas.
